I own a matched set of Ruger Vaqueros that was designed for the Friends of the NRA fundraisers in 2009. There were 1125 sets made by Ruger. They have "NRA 2009 Gun of the Year Matched Set" in Gold on the side of each barrel and they have Hogue synthetic ivory grips. Each Vaquero also has beautiful color case hardening on it and matching serial numbers distiguished by an NRAL on one and an NRAR on the other. I do not see any for sale on the internet and I would like to know what others believe the value of this unfired NIB set would be.

Welcome to the Forum!
I've worked several of those events in 2009, and saw them sell for as little as $850 to as much as $1900. On average though around $1000 seems to be the trading price when they do sell.

Thanks for the response! I have someone interested at $1100 but that sure seems low for such a beautiful set of pistols.
