Is the mag show In the gun 10 round? Looks like fire maybe? Do they make a five round?

It comes with the two original 10 round magazines. I also have 3 and 5 round magazines, which are available from Ruger, $40 each..

Everything is a trade off.

Laminated stocks are more dense, more stable, and heavier, but walnut is without a doubt much more attractive.
