American after-market stock

I recently purchased a replacement stock for my American short-action .223. I have other Ruger rifles with black synthetic stocks and wanted a similar appearance, rather than the factory moss green model. The stock sold by shopruger.com has a 1.25 in. shorter LOP. Not a real big deal, as I am short-statured. Only minor challenge was getting proper scope relief. I'm just curious if anyone close to Ruger knows if a black, short-action, 13.5 in. LOP stock might ever be available after-market? Thanks for reading this long-winded post. Kenny B.

Boyd's has all manner of choices for that rifle. It so happens I ordered one today.

MDT makes a black LSS chassis. Fit it with a 6 pos adjustable AR buttstock and have more LOP moves than you'll need....

I like my Boyd's laminated stock for my RAR very much. You can specify the trigger LOP for an upcharge, as several other options. Be aware that if you make any "custom additions to the basic stock, it becomes non-returnable.
