Breakfree Powder Blast / AR 556

Has anyone tried Break Free Powder Blast on a Ruger AR. It is supposed to be an extremely strong solvent for gun cleaning. Will damage rubber, plastic, wood and polymers. It also says to remove quickly. Not sure how to remove quickly and thoroughly on rifle chamber. Extractor has rubber O ring and I don't know what is in the trigger group.Also not sure about barrel lining.

I use it to clean reloading dies. It dries fast and will blast away much of the metal flakes and other contamination that collects in my dies. I would go to their web site and read about what they suggest. Let us know what you discover.

I do my rifle/handgun cleaning the old fashion way. Brass/nylon brush with Hoppes gun cleaning solvent. It hasn't failed me in over 40 something years.

I use Brake cleaner To flush bore out. Then a coat of Break Free or Ballistol
