2 new pistols, one a lite and one a 5 inch heavy barrel.
Numerous misfires with what appears to be strong primer strikes. 2 different ammo brands.
Suggestions? Thanks

I've run about 500 rounds of the inexpensive bulk Golden Bullets thru my MarklV 22/45 target model.
No malfunctions of any kind.
I also clean it after each session.

Same here but I have thousands of rounds of the Golden Bullets through mine with zero issues. Those Remingtons are really dirty but my Mark IV shoots em just fine and for the way I shoot they're just as accurate as the more expensive stuff.

If the primers are hit hard then I would say it's the ammo, light strikes would indicate the gun issue, hard would be ammo.
