I am looking at a clean used Vaquero for $750. Does that seem in the ballpark with today's market?

Not enough information.
Caliber? Blue or stainless? Barrel length? Engraved cylinder? Special Edition? Condition (ANIB or just clean?) Box & papers? Vaquero or New Vaquero?

Lots of variables,, and pricing depends upon details.

MSRP on a brand new one is $989.00.

So, to me at least, $750 is way way high unless brand new in box.

Actually, I've been seeing the Ruger SAs in 357s go for that and more on other wires. It's not 'way high' out here, especially give the lack of availability at present.

I was looking at one on Gunbroker.com and the last time I looked it was at $800. Glad I didn't bid. All the Ruger SA's are scarce but it seems to me the Vaquero is particularly hard to find at a reasonable price.

yup, ruger revolvers and hunting rifles are tough if not impossible to find right now . Seems the gun manufacturers were concentrating on black guns for the big scare . hopefully they will start pumping out the normal guns again soon
