I just bought one (Bisley/ not convertable) KRBN455W off GB, the serial number he gave me in an email is 48-45xxx. Off the charts with known numbers. This dealer has recently sold around a dozen of these NIB, I wonder if it's another run of leftover parts? I'll let you know if the serial doesn't match the email, and post date on shell envelope when I receive it.

I just noticed you've got my SBH Bisley Hunter 45 Colt listed under the SBH Hunter by mistake.

Hello All,

This information is being posted at the request of Quarterbore.

I have handled and expect to take ownership of a Ruger SS Bisley .45 lc/acp 5.5" next week. The marking on the bottom of the barrel is "Ruger Newport, NH USA" The serial number is 48-447XX.

I hope this helps.

Respectfully,
Harry C.

Ok, I'll add a little bit to your database.
These are all Accusports.
357 37-899** 1/31/07
41 48-208** 10/24/03
44 87-525** 10/04/02
45/45 48-298** 8/21/06
45 48-132** 3/21/02
45 48-163** 1/29/03
The last one is my shooter, the other five are NIB.

You guys and your partial numbers. Drives me nuts sometimes. Your posts don't actually say who owns them, but you're hinting that you do. So is that actually worse than maybe saying "I saw these today"? See what I mean? Not hollering here, just making a point.
If somebody reading this post happened to have another 37-900xx range gun, or a 37-899xx range gun, you might actually be able to make an extra buck from the guy who owns the consecutive. NVbirdman, maybe you've got #37-89999 and BorderBrewer has 37-90000? Now that would be a pretty rare pair!! But each of you may never know. Just an old pet peave of mine. Wives tales are hard to break.

I'm not sure mine is an Accusport but maybe those of you who know more about this can tell me.

Bisley 5.5" stainless convertable 45LC/45 ACP SN# 48-442XX and the date on the fired case envelope is 4-21-10.

I have a SS Bisley 45 SN 48-22xxx. It is currently sleeping with its cousin in s safety deposit box, a Ruger Blackhawk 5.5 SS 45Colt/45ACP convertible SN 47-61xxx. I am the original owner of the convertible Blackhawk but purchased the Bisley tenderly used.
