ES/SD are great and I agree with what you say but if it isn't accurate, it isn't accurate...no chrono needed.
Re: the refrained comment... If a man with the last name "Baker" says it so, it is, I've got nothing there...
If mine cuts my topstrap in half I'll make the first ever Open Top Ruger...or Maybe I'll just make it a Maximum...
I like W296 also but seem to use LG more.
I'd start at 18grs and work up until your topstrap cuts through.
