8) First one is a Thompson Contender, I'd venture. The second a rear for a 10/22, or an early Belgium Browning BAR rifle.....Is a rather generic rear sight for the illustration. ATB, MIKE
My first thought on the first one was "Contenders!" as well. I'd have to go dig out my parts bin to see if I have any like that. There were variations of sights on T/C bbls over the years.
First one is for a TC Contender and the second one is a Lyman folding rear sight . They come in 3 different heights and were used on a number of rifles. One pictured looks to be to lower one. Ruger 10/22 uses a similiar one which is the middle height.
