not much to pick from..im pretty sure they only came in 270 and 30-06. I bought 2 of the RLS laminated in 30-06 and still have 1. Great for the woods. They might have made a few 257R or 280rem in the RL model.

It won't be finished/complete without a 480 Ruger levergun in it. Yes, they made them. Blue and stainless.

Wouldn't it be really cool to find out who Daniel is and get the entire story. Who knows, it may have been gifted and sold for very interesting reasons. The serial number should be able to assist in tracking it somehow.

I have one of the stainless Alaskans in 375 Ruger and put it into a newer Ruger plastic stock from a magnum and it is much nicer than that Hogue stock. It fit perfect. Now the 416 Ruger I left in the Hogue stock until I can find something better..the newer Ruger plastic stock don't have a good...

Gary Reeder will build you a nice custom revolver or also just perform a simple caliber conversion. Gary has done many for me.

Im sure there is someone on the Reeder site that would give some up if you ask on the forum....there are a lot of misfits that have hoards of it...and I mean hoards. Many of them are pretty generous too.

Did you try coloradocustomcartridges.com as they load Gary's cartridges and have the 405 based ammo like the 310gnr, 280gnr and 350gnr in stock(likely just 405 headstamped brass). Perhaps they have brass cases they would sell you. Just saying. I do have 378gnr unformed brass(properly...

That Reeder style "gunfighter" round butt grip-frame sets the whole package off nicely. Nice revolver overall though.
