Thanks I will look at that extractor groove.i installed the barrel maybe I did not get it perfect. Anything else I can chk. Besides a good cleaning.

Sounds like you found a good patch of laurel .I'd keep that one a secret. :wink: Doc ..Mountain Laurel is a wild Rhododendron ..grows all over the eastern Appalachians Gets pretty thick .it's good cover for game of all sorts.

Mine has had no issues. I find the federal(AE) 100 gr loads to be very hot. More so than any other round i have fired in this gun.I could see why there have been extraction issues from this round although i have had none. i reload my practice rounds. My preferred carry round is the 115...
