    77/17 years of production?

The 77/17mach2 rifles were manufactured in 2004 -2005. I believe the 17 HMR's came out shortly before them.. Ruger web site/product history serial number section states the 77/17 was introduced in 2002.

    Ruger Law Enforcement Catalogs

I have a 1982 Law Enforcement Products catalog. Included with it is a Ruger Law Enforcement Sales Newsletter, Vol.4 - No.2 May, 1982. This seems to put volume 1 back to 1978 as noted by Contender. I also have a 1985 Law Enforcement Products catalog. Both catalogs are 8 page glossy type...

    Number one info needed

I've been following the Centennials for some time. Some of the serial numbers of Grade II models that I've come across range from 130-45846 thru 132-08430. The Grade I models that I've seen are in the 131-45000 range. The overruns that I've come across are in the 132-20000 - 132-21000.

    35 Rimington - First time

The spirals in the Remington 141's tubular magazine were designed to offset the cartridge just enough to prevent a bullet tip from contacting the primer of the cartridge in front of it.

David Bradshaw Photos - Vol. LVII

Very nice rifle. I see that it doesn't have a cartridge trap. It seems there were fewer of the "standard" grade models than the deluxe version. Is there an address on the barrel? The rifles produced by Ackley's company have a Salt Lake City address. Colts have a Hartford address. There are some...

    Ruger Letters Came today

In 2008 I received a letter from Ruger regarding a No.1 that stated, "Our records show that this rifle was manufactured in November of 2003 and shipped in December of 2006, as a model K1-H-BBZ, .416 Rigby caliber.". This is the only Ruger letter I have that contains the date of manufacture. All...

    Lyman #1 Overrun ?

It's my understanding there were three groups. The deluxe came in a red lined box, had different accessories, nicer engraving, gold inlay, and it was a run of 100 rifles. The regular grade came in the green lined box, etched engraving, no gold and was a run of 1,000 rifles. The overrun group...

    Lyman #1 Overrun ?

In 1978 Lyman put out a Centennial 45-70 reloading package (blister pack) with the following: 1. Bronze Centennial medallion 2. 3 die set 7460496 (marked Centennial) 3. Large mould handle (I think the wood on this is walnut - it differs from the wood on regular handles) 4. Mould 457193C I...

    Lyman #1 Overrun ?

Mine came with the wood case and the scope - no other accessories. Over the years I've managed to get the rest of the accessories. Lyman still sells a soft cover version of the Lyman Centennial book. A few years back Lyman sold off all their scope parts to Parsons. I don't know if Parsons is...
