SRH 10mm Canted Sight - Off to the factory - Update

I had a similar issue several years ago with a SBH 7 1/2” 44 mag. I couldn’t get it to group well. I brought my grievances here and of the several replies was one to check to see if the barrel was square to the frame. I thought the chances of it being misaligned were slim but I checked it anyway...

17 HMR ammo has gone bad

I had the majority of approximately 500 rounds 17 HMR go bad as I used to stock pile it whenever it went on sale. I never did contact Hornady, but after a little searching around on the web I found out this is a thing. Some of my ammo may be as old as ten years. I discovered this after...

    Ruger single six 17hmr

I have a hunter in the 17 HMR. As per the cartridge it is a flat shooting laser and is one heck of a varmit round if you are so inclined. As referred to above, if you are in the market for a hunter keep your eyes open for a convertible model 17 HMR / 17 Mach II. There were not many made and they...

Drill collar/guide for base pin install

The long story is I have a Ruger Bisley 45 Colt that I shoot 335 grain WLN out of and the base pin jumps. Previous to this I shot 300 grainers, but opted for this gun to be my heavy duty hunting/packing revolver. I switched to the 335 gr. load and my base started to jump. I purchased a Wolf...

Drill collar/guide for base pin install

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a drill collar/guide used to drill a hole on a barrel for the set screw on a Belt Mountain base pin? Thanks.

    How many of you....

I have had problems with loose screws after I bought mine. I don’t have a scope on mounted but I snugged up the mounting screws as they were coming loose. I removed the safety on the right side of the gun and put lock tight on the screw there to hold it in place, but I don’t feel this is a fault...

What Would Make a RH Shoot All Over ?

What is the load you are using? Also, use a straight edge off the top strap and check to make sure the barrel is threaded square to the frame.

    Montana Bullet Works

I second everything paul105 says. I have shot a decent amount of their bullets and could not be happier. I have spoke with Bruce on the phone two or three times. On the one hand he has always been knowledgeable and helpful with their product. On the other hand he is someone who immensely loves...

Shooting 45 Colt in SRH 454. Shooting Wayyyy Right.

My advice would be to do this and then if no light is shed on the problem, then give Ruger a call to send it back. My guess is it is a gun issue. Personally, I had an issue with a SBH a few years back. I wasted a lot of time and ammo before someone on here was able to help. It ended up going...

need a holster for a Bisley Blackhawk revolver

I have this holster from Triple K for my 5 1/2 bisley. It fits well and the strong side carry fits high and tight against the body making it a pleasure to carry. I do not use the cross draw position as the grip of the gun sticks out too far for my liking. The actual model number is 570-17...

Need cast bullets suggestions (commercial) for SRH

I have been very happy with Montana Bullet Works. I shoot their 45 colt 335 gr lwn gc bullets. I have a buddy who shoots a few of their heavy wfn in 44 mag and he is happy with their accuracy as well. He has some of their 44 255 gr gc Keith bullets but he has yet to shoot them. I would rate...

A day with Parker and his Brothers

Great job on the redo. I always like it when someone shares their projects. Thank you for giving us all a peek at what it took to bring Parker back on line! Nice work.

    Anybody order Bowen sights lately?

I didn't realize others had to wait so long. I just ordered one off the Hamilton Bowen website about a week ago. Haven't got it yet. I'll check in with them next week to see what the eta is.
