    American pistol thumb safety model.

Yes I saw that. This does make a difference to me. Now it's a viable pistol choice for my needs. I'm hoping to see some videos of one and also handle one at a LGS soon.

    Ruger American Pistol

They just released a manual safety version. I"m like'n this. That was the one issue I had last year looking at them is that they are just like a Glock on safety. I have seen personally way too many ADs with Glocks. The new thumb safety makes it like the 1911 I grew up with. you can now carry...

    LCR 327

Same frame as the LCR 357 mag. not sure what the weight is. Not sure if the extra hole in the cylinder makes it lighter either.

    Rock Island 45 F/S NIB

Does it have the light rail on the frame? Do you have pics?

who wants to see a Ruger LCR in 380?

my wife and my sister both want one. Only thing out there right now is the Taurus M380 and it has to have trigger work to even be in the ball park. I'm hoping Ruger announces one before xmas. If they did, I'd have 2 xmas gifts already picked out

    LCR 22lr trigger job? lighter

Has anyone or can anyone tell me how to lighten up the Ruger LCR 22lr or 22mag trigger. They are horrible heavy compared to the LCR centerfires. I know they need the extra weight on the trigger for the rimfire, but there should be a way to make it lighter. If not I'm thinking of contacting...

Anyone have a catastrophic Failure on a Sp101 like this?

have you looked thru the barrel? is there any obstructions there? It does look like excessive pressure. was the shell casing found?

who wants to see a Ruger LCR in 380?

Well looks like 19% say yes on the 380 and 41% no. Wonder how that would compare to other calibers? BTW for those who said 22 Mag. I found a problem there. The trigger pull on the rimfire LCRs is HORRIBLE. 380 would win that one hands down. So 380 would be a better choice than the 22 Mag for...

LCR 9mm vs LCR 38 which has more recoil?

I've heard that they have higher pressure and they travel inside the gun longer since they are shorter, but everyone I've talked to with other guns aside from the LCR seem to think the 9mm has less. The fps at muzzle are similar. I have fired a Taurus 905 9mm revolver and it was not as bad as...

LCR 9mm vs LCR 38 which has more recoil?

Wondering if the 38 or 9mm LCR has more recoil? And yes I know you can run both with lite loads and get different results. I'm looking for apples to apples here. +P to +P, heavy gr to heavy gr. Overall impressions for those who have shot both.

    LCR 9 mm

How about subsonic 9mm ammo? Anyone ever try running it thru the LCR 9mm to see how recoil is? Or any other problems?

who wants to see a Ruger LCR in 380?

LCR 22 has a heavier trigger pull than the Taurus because of the rimmed primer. I know I have one. Trigger pull on the LCR 22lr and 22mag is worse than the LCR(add centerfire cartridge here)

who wants to see a Ruger LCR in 380?

Now. My sister wants a gun she can sit by her bed unloaded but ready to go. Picking up a moon clip and dropping it n is the fastest and easiest route. Followed by speedloaders n rim cartridges. Pistol is loser because it requires charging after inserting mag and also clearing after. Next it will...
