I dunno. Comparing the cylinder pics of the SP to the S10, there's a lot of room between the chambers on the SP cylinder. I totally think it would be doable.
They could do 12+ if they stepped up to the GP.
I for one like it, but like I've said elsewhere:
I don't care for the half lug look and want a 10 round unfluted cylinder with a shorter barrel, backpacker style.... Whaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh why doesn't Ruger listen to me?
I'm holding out in hopes they can make the SP in a 10 round package with an unfluted cylinder. I don't know if there's enough room in the cylinder, but if there is in the single 10, I'm figuring they can do it. Crossing my fingers...
I'd just keep my eyes peeled for a FA on the used market. Even with a few rounds through them, they're phenomenal guns. The quality is hard to surpass...
I didn't see it anywhere, but for those of you still wondering- and according to the email I just received from Ruger CS, the bore of the Single 10 is the same as the convertibles. That is all.
It does have a tag that says $450. It's quite a few years old...
It came in with some others, most notably a two digit Colt Python... speaking of heartbeat- its price tag was around $250 if I remember correctly.
Oh no, I wasn't trying to claim it was factory by posting the pic. Just showing what it was. We're all sure it was a chop job. It's part of a bunch of different guns that came in as part of an estate and trying to confirm what it is.
It was pretty nice. The front site looked gigantic. Looked like it has been sitting for years... Sorry about the photo, I made due with what I had. Here she is:
Can't find anything in the reference, but is there any indication Ruger ever rolled a SBH off the line with a 4 5/8" barrel? Don't know much on it yet, other than it's a four digit gun. I'm thinking it's a custom job, but I haven't seen it yet...
Thanks in advance.
Hello all...
Did Ruger ever make the Stainless Mark II 5 1/2" Target Bull with tapered bolt ears? Saw one at the shop this weekend, decent condition, but the ears were tapered, pretty much coming to a point on each side. Looked like someone's home job, but I didn't know for sure. Needless to...
