I just traded a used Glock 26 with 2 mags for a 4" blued Security Six in 90% condition and $200.
I always like to keep spare parts for my guns.
I have read that people who have bought the Wolff replacement spring kits are having problems fitting them.
Can anyone recommend or give me advice...
So if I understand you, these guns are essentially used samples or customer returns? The refurbishing does not automatically mean that something was wrong with them, just that they could have been slightly used in some way?
Anyone know if this is a one gun kind of thing or are there a lot of refurbished GP100's out there?
Gun looks LNIB and did not have a previous owner.
Anyone have experience or knowledge about these?
Cleaned my Ruger Blackhawk and reinstalled the cylinder. The cylinder then locked up. I reinserted the cylinder pin. It was a little tough going in, but it seems fully inserted. Now my Blackhawk is locked up tight and I am struggleing to remove the cylinder pin.
Any advice? It was almost...
I know that I will probably never wear or break a part, but I always like to purchase spare parts when they are available in case they get scarse in the future. Besides, for $50 or less, I consider it good insurance.
Here is what I thought:
Several Magazine springs
Magazine base plate
All...
I have one that appears to be rusted, but not really. I looks like bright copper paste in the grooves. It just appeared one day. I can not scrub it out. It reminds me of the bright copper lube you find inside the slide of a new Glock.
Anyway. It is bugging the hell out of me, But I can only...
I passed on the Ruger MKII 50th anniversary and found a MKII, blued bull barrel with adjustable sights at the same store for $309. I can not find anything wrong with the pistol (99%), so I put it on a 5 day hold.
I am leaning towards the bull barrel. The price seems great for it and it looks...
Look up Surplus French Leather hosters. I found one for $8 for my MKII 4.75 standard barrel pistol. It is a tight fit, but works really well. It is a flap holster, which might be preferred for hunting.
I guess that depends on what you want to do with it.
Having fun hitting tin cans?
Hunting small varmits/game?
Serious competition?
Probably a standard barrel will take care of 90% of what you want to do.....
All a question of what feels best in your hand and what you can stand looking at.
At Cabelas last night. CCI bulk packs of .22 LR ammo. 375 rounds for $20.99. 40 grain, copper plated, round nose at 1200 FPS.
The box reads "AR TACTICAL"?
When did this start? What are the prices like in your area? Bought a box for the MKIII GOVT Target.
