    Ruger sr9 Sights

I tried the Williams and LOVED it. I now have them on 3 SR's and a SRc. I shoot much tighter groups regardless of distance. No, they are not my S&W revolvers or 1911's but neither was the cost even with the sights. I shoot the SR's with the Williams better than any other striker fired gun I own...

    sight paint

I have used this paint in the past. It works OK depending on the gun. It wears off pretty quick if there is any wear at all on the sights from holstering etc. It's OK if you have no funds for sights. If you need cheaper, fiber optic would be better. My Judge has FO that gets filthy after...

    Concealed Carry Guns

IMO you should be able to go where you want in this country and feel safe. It's unfortunate that it now takes most of us carrying a weapon to feel safe. It's individual based on your feelings, where you live, and a ton of other criteria. If you feel safe going into Walmart without a gun, go for...

How does the sr40c compare to the S&W Shield?

I have a sr9c and Shield in 40. Comparing the 2, the Shield is thinner making it easier to conceal and lighter due to capacity. The SR is much more versatile and I am much more accurate with it due to not only shooting it a lot more (my Shield if fairly new) but also because of the longer sight...

Thinking of trading my SR9c for SR9

I've had both for quite a while now and have to say, not a lot of difference. I actually have 2 SR9's, 1c, and probably have 2k rounds through all. Operation and feel the same (with the 17 rd mag in c). You will print better on target with the full size. If you don't plan on cc the full size...

When it's time to replace the recoil spring?

Might actually better for someone standing away from me a bit to notice the ejection pattern better then I could. Providing you don't shoot in an indoor range, just shoot a mag and look where your brass is on the ground.

When it's time to replace the recoil spring?

My gunsmith told me to watch the casings. Every gun is different, but if they start ejecting beyond about 6 feet or further than normal for that gun (if you know what normal is), it's time to change the spring. He also stated to watch for inconsistencies, i.e. 1 at 3', next one 8', next one 6'...

    LC9 9 rnd magazines

I wound up buying 3. Nice compliment to factory mags. I did a comparison to SR9C with 10 rd. mags. Although I would prefer to shoot the SR, the LC even with the 9 rd. mags provides a much thinner gun to conceal, especially in these summer months. I see myself getting more use out of my LC with...

    LC9 9 rnd magazines

I just checked Ruger's site. They have them listed too, the same price as Cabela's.

    SR45C..... I want one.

Well, what's wrong with that? 8) I bought 2 SR9's and a SR40 before I bought the SR9c, and I have to say I like the c better. I told myself that since I have a full size 45 (not 1911) that I love, I would wait for the 45c. But, it is so HARD!

    SR45C..... I want one.

The only thing keeping me from buying a SR45 is knowing that the c model will be out soon, I hope. At least that's what I tell myself each time I see a SR45 at a gun store. So far, it's working, but if it doesn't come out soon, I'm afraid I will own both.

    LC9 9 rnd magazines

I agree with a lot of what Rei40c says, but I own and shoot an LCP, LC9, SR9c, and many others. There are 2 really important attributes of a ccw that is missing here. First is the thickness of the gun. The LC9 is much thinner than the SR9c. That speaks for itself. The single most important thing...

    LC9 9 rnd magazines

When I contacted Ruger, the person wasn't even aware of the magazine add that Ruger had placed saying they were available now. That was the 1st of April. Haven't seen any adds since and Ruger will not say when they will be available. My guess is that someone at Ruger jumped the gun or someone...

    whats your favorite revolver

Sorry it's not a Ruger. It's only one of 2 revolvers I own that is not a Ruger. If Ruger made one, I would have bought it. Smith and Wesson 460 XVR with a Leupold scope and Warne rings. Sighted it in at 100 yards. Made the final adjustment and put the next 3 shots in the bull with all touching...

    LC9 9 Round Mags

I have seen adds now for over a month from Ruger for 9 round LC9 mags. I've called Ruger twice and no availability date. Able's lists them but shows them out of stock. Has anyone out there found them yet or heard anything?
