I thought they were selling for closer to $600 in real good condition. Then, today I found a Bisley Single Six 32 that has been shortened to 4 5/8". Other than the barrel chop, it's box stock. I didn't have cash today... might go get it tomorrow.

You might be surprised at how accurate a ROA can be... ...it also can be very powerful!

What's the make and model? I'm looking for one of them to make bullets for a .45 cal flintlock.

I shot some .454" ball in my ROA, until I found some .457" ball. It worked just fine, very accurate, could not tell that there was any gas getting by the ball, although it is likely that it did.

But the longer lock time remains because the spring is lighter than the one in models with no lawyer lock. The part number JPGLSG provided is for a replacement spring seat that works in that grip frame, with the shorter mainspring. It's when you replace the grip frame that you need a new...

I take the cylinder out of a revolver and use it for QC on completed loads.

Did a little homework on this 2008 pistol and it's lawyer lock. Since this setup has a lighter spring and longer lock time, and since some grip panels might not fit, I am inclined to change the grip frame, strut, spring and seat... not right away, perhaps after the new year.

Although I appreciate the help, and would welcome your visit, I probably can manage it ok. The part number you posted is the spring seat that replaces the gizmo, right?

There are two local gun stores that have given me a price of $530 out the door, for any barrel length.

Hmmm... no keys came with it. Is it a Ruger grip frame? Also, the part# you listed is a different mainspring seat.
