don't know who you talked to but Ruger E-Mailed me a shipping label when my 4yr old LCP had some problems after 800+rds. ...they replaced everything but the frame & returned it in 5 working days at no cost to me ...best CS in the business bar none

both my SR1911 & CMD are very fine weapons with no problems ...as good or better than the 5 Colts that I own ...run better than the R1 Rem. & both run as good or better with SWC lead reloads than my 2 Kimbers...sounds like a bunch of whiners that don't have the jingles to buy a SR1911 or have no...

George; the barrel peened the slide where it locks up at top locking lug ...older LCPs had this problem since solved by Ruger....I never trust a carry gun until it will run 300rds. without a hitch..I love the LCP & the LC9 is just as good when I can my carry gun is the SR1911 CMD with LCP or...

after 4yrs. & 700rds my LCP had to go back because of barrel/slide peening ...bought a LC9 to try until it gets back & love the LC9 also ...btw. I think I'd like a purple one ..LOL

I have both & reach for the CMD most of the time...just "feels" & looks better to me ...JMHO

the only thing wrong with this thread is that Galloway is out of stock on the trigger kits & no BO date !

I'm 66 and still work two jobs using my hands a lot... shoot my 1911's & BHP no problems but after 50 or 60rds. through my 5 1/2 " SBH with full house loads my hands start to bother me some ...good luck
