Bob, I was referring to XR3 markings stamped on the grip frame. Don't believe Ruger marked the panels as such. Sorry about any confusion. Jim

Yes, XR-3 stamped inside grip frame as well as XR-3 RED frame.

Bill, I've always been a bit fuzzy on this regarding factory stages/ivories.....has Ruger letterered any Blackhawks as shipped with such? Also, my understanding is...stags and ivories were offered as separate items, made by several different manufacturers. This alone could explain why...
