I use a Nikon VSD (Variable Size Dot) scope. It has 11 different brightness levels and multiple dot sizes, from 1 MOA on up. You can adjust it to work during the darkest night or brightest sunny day. It is bigger than something like a Bushnell TRS-25. But it rides atop my 22/45 Lite just fine.

Thanks! I made it to the indoor range in Boise yesterday. Shot five different factory loads. It was fun :) The windage was right on, vertical varied from 185g, hit 7" low, to 360 grain, which hit about 3" high. Time to learn how to reload. I think a 300-325 grain hardcast @1000-1100 fps will be...

Today I ordered a nib stainless steel Blackhawk 7.5" barrel, model #0460, from one of the big online shops. I can't find any info on the Ruger website for this revolver. Might this be a nos gun, and if so, any time frame info? Thank you.
