Same here. Back when the Bisley .480 came out I picked up a enough Starline brass, and a few boxes of factory ammo. At the rate I shoot it I'll be set for as long as I have the revolver.
Robb,
You can have it. I appreciate the offer from carbonfibrebob but I am more of square notch target blade kind of guy (and I have one of Fermin's new target rear sights on the way in too)
Tell me about some of the great systems. I'm not finding too many options for Ruger Blackhawk sights (Red dot or scope on this project is not an option I want)
I've dealt with Fermin Garza before so I know anything he is involved with will be first rate. If a Bowen sights does not turn up soon enough I'll try one of those RW Grip sight blades.
Lets try again....originally posted this WTB last December
WTB: Bowen Rough Country rear sight for a Blackhawk. Looking for the .350" all black target style blade. Bowen's item # is RCST. New or very good condition.

I picked up the rifle second hand years ago knowing it might...
Shot? a Lahti L-39 Finnish 20mm anti-tank rifle.
Owned and shot? A Ruger No.1 in 38-55 WCF. The story I've read it that Ruger made either 400 or 289 of them for Sloan's some time ago.

My .480 is shooting about 16” high at 50 yards with a 375 gr hand load (rear sight bottomed out). I have one of the MR03611 front sights (.440”) that I will install soon and go from there.
Brownells has the .440" front sights...
