I was deer scouting with my son when he was about 9. I brought a few handguns, one my Super Single Six. I was shooting at a puddle at about 35 yds. or so and they were all over the place I ejected them and they were all split. Yup, I had the mag. cylinder in it and I'd stuffed it full with LR's. I didn't have a clue when I'd stuck that mag. cylinder in.I don't remember how accurate the LRs were being fired through my Single Six with the magnum cylinder but it was a fun test and knowing in a pinch it was possible.
I don't recall exactly, but I'd say the groups were about 18" at that range. It was pretty pitiful LOL
Now, I know that you know that the convertible Single Sixes are bored for the mag. diameter. Fox Mike was correct in what he said.So everyone better stop shooting there Single Six convertibles, Because It's Just Not Safe...
