    SFAR ... I Want One

I want the SFAR only because of its miniscule size.

    Anyone use a Leatherman Wave?

This caused me to find mine. First, the one in the truck was not there. But I had two with my motorcycle stuff. I tried the two, side by side. Yes, the spring open model is easier, but as I said, I am so accustomed to pliers, I used the one without the spring back, just as quickly and easily...

    Anyone use a Leatherman Wave?

In the trades, I've used so many pliers, one-handed, a spring back feature, although it seems useful, I could take it or leave it. And Leatherman's website still claims they are made locally. https://www.leatherman.com/leatherman-story.html

    Ancient Technology

Another thing... Since the mandate is for hands-free entertainment and communication... streaming, blue-tooth, etc. requires much more manual input than just slipping in a cassette or CD.

    Ruger is evil

What is evil, is Ruger turning out a very few of something I could want, then poof, they're gone. I would think, if something is popular, make more. A couple examples are the Wiley Clapp GP-100 in 10mm, the PCC in .40, and now, the 75th Anniversary MkIV.

    Anyone use a Leatherman Wave?

Yes. A lot of experience with Leatherman in general, and also with the Wave, specifically. @Bear Paw Jack, thru his connections, gifted me one at one time. I believe Leatherman to be the best of the multi-type tools. For decades, a leatherman product has lived in all my trucks, in my boats...

    Ancient Technology

Our last two vehicles have stereos without CD or tape capability. Not even satellite radio. Seems the rage is streaming everything. I don't stream anything, so please, give us the option of CD's or cassettes.

    SFAR ... I Want One

Lotsa trash and bash threads or otherwise bad experiences with the Ruger SFAR. Have the issues been sorted out, and/or do some folks here have a specimen they are happy with? .

Bob Wills and His Texas Playboy Band ...

From time to time, maybe even often, folks post links to music artists. And that's quite okay with me. I have become somewhat enamored with Bob Wills, the King of Western Swing, and just tonight I found a video of a later performance by him on Austin City Limits. He and the other musicians...

    Yesterday When I Was Young

Great song, covered by many, maybe dozens of musicians. The version I most remember is by Roy Clark, but I also very much remember the Glen Campbell version. .

King Charles' new royal portrait . . . Oh my God.

Better than pulling my eyes out of my head trying to let my brain know what it's supposed to be seeing.

I never took art appreciation class, so... It's not of me, It's not on my wall, I didn't buy it, It's not my business, so I could care less. 💂‍♂️ I am abroad often, and when I'm traveling, I see many grotesque paintings. Somebody with more culture than me must like this stuff. .

    Lipsey Ruger Significance?

The KNR4 Super Single Six stainless convertible with a 4-5/8" barrel is arguably the best New Model .22 offering ever from Ruger. But it's not catalogued, so if it wasn't for Lipsey's or others commissioning Ruger to make them once in a while, we'd never see them.
