I bought this for a 4.2" Ruger Redhawk. This would also work for an N frame S&W. It hasn't been worn but I did put the gun in the holster to more or less break it in. I went a long time before I even tried the gun in the holster and it started out pretty tight. I called them to find out why it didn't fit. It did have to be broke in.
Truth be told, I'm a very big guy. I originally wasn't sure it would even fit me. I can tell you for certain that regardless of how big you are, it will fit you. You will have to adjust it to fit you. It is like new. I mostly carry a SBH, $120. TYD. I'll ship it priority mail.
