This is a door stop made by Newton Mfg Co in Newton Iowa. It is also marked The George Washington Door Stop. When you place it in front of the door the stop slides under the door. When you look at it it looks like a hatchet stuck in the floor holding the door. I thought it was neat. Ir measures 14". $35 delivered
