No, a Ruger Mark 1, got it new and I believe slap wore it out. I fired 500 rounds a week through it for 6 years and then used it for hunting and trap line use along with fun shooting. Bluing was very well worn and started to open up in the group department when I sold it,

Not my first gun by any means but I have a Ruger Mark II stainless slab side Target model that I love.

I took a picture of my MKI I've had all my life , and got the paper work and box(not original box it came in) they sent it back to me in in 2007 when they re blued it.Im thinking it came new in a red and white box, would that be right?

Yes a red and white 1 piece box with a printed label saying T678.
