Your favorite Ruger Semi-Automatic pistol

No sweat!
I just wasn't sure why you posted where you did so I just wanted to call that to your attention.
Please do not watch my future posts on these gun forums....you just might catch me doing the same thing.

I was pondering exactly what the members favorite Ruger semi-auto pistol they own.
In the past the Ruger P97 & P93 were my favorites.. but over the years I ended up trading them off …
But as of now the Ruger Security 380 is my now favorite … easy shooting , easy to rack and very dependable..

[email protected] How does it handle hollow points? Mine has a problem feeding hollow points. Roun d nose, no problems. A few thousand rounds of it with zero problems. Any suggestions how to get it to reliably handle hollow points? Thanks for any suggestions.

Only hollow points I have fired through mine has been XTPs .. actually make that Underwood XTP rounds , standard pressure.. functioned flawlessly , but again it was after break in.
BRW my range ammo has been FN FMJ..

That would be a Mark II Competition Target

I have shot a few thousand rounds with it. Cleaned, lubed. Round nose, no problem. I have tried 6 or 7 brands of hollow points and still have the feeding problem. I think I'll take it in to have the feed ramp polished and see what happens.
