Very nice gift.

And I love those grips. I looked at their site just yesterday, as I am in the market for some myself.
Did they require any fitting or did they fit well from the get go?

The gun and the box are beautiful indeed, but what is the monogram on the box lid? I can't decide if it is a stylized roman numeral 6, or an initial. 8)

Thanks again for the compliments/input. It's greatly appreciated!

TwoGun: Excellent suggestion, one more thing to maybe consider. At least I have a month to noodle some of these ideas;

Paul: They did not require fitting, pretty tight fit, albeit they were just a little bit off, the bottom of the grip frame hangs like 1/32" lower than the bottom of the grips, not really too big of a deal to me. That was the only "issue". I also bought some fleur-de-lis grip panels from them for my GP100 and they fit and look great. I think they do a great job on their grips and highly recommend them!!;

5of7: The monogram on top of the lid is an "M" for the first letter of our last name.
