WTS Ruger No.1 45-70

It's had some work done to it by the previous owner.
Limbsaver pad, pressure screw from forend hanger to barrel and some forend work.
The good on the forend: It's been bedded.
The bad on the forend: It has had the Alexander Henry forend cut off, then it was rounded. I find the way that this was done to be remarkably unattractive.
I got my hands on an unfinished forend that appears to match the contour - one picture shows it mostly put into place, but it is londer than the sling swivel stud location, so it won't go all the way on until it's cut. The unfinished forend is included. The forend came out of some New Old Stock in a local gunshop. No telling who made it, but it's old enough that the price tag on it is $16.99.

I'm thinking we'll start by asking $1400 shipped. Open to offers.
