E) "Russia's Top Guns: Soviet Air Power" An encyclopedia of all Soviet military aircraft from the Korean War to the fall of the Berlin Wall. Many types still in use. F) "The Soviet Air Force at War" by Russell Muller. History from the Czarist air force in WWI thru the Revolution, Spanish Civil War and Japanese border wars of the '30s, the Finnish and German fronts in WWII, plus brief postwar history. G) SPF "Ike the Soldier as They Knew Him" by Merle Miller. By an ex-combat correspondent and presidential biographer who knew Eisenhower for many years, using the testimony of men who served with him to uncover the man under the bland, jovial exterior his public saw. M) "All For the Union: the Civil War Diary and Letters of Elisha Hunt Rhodes" by E.H. Rhodes, ed. Robert Hand Rhodes. Rhodes began as a private and ended the war as a LTC in charge of his regiment, the 2nd Rhode Island Volunteer Inf. He fought in 20 battles from First Bull Run to Apomattox Court House.
