If I decide to install a Stainless SS hammer, is there going to be a problem with the Wrangler internals?
Like, can I install the hammer and not have problems with the pawl or loading gate?

Usually a good idea to keep the pawl that came with the gun, especially if it has been working fine.
The connection between the pawl and hammer is same-same.
Pawls are length specific between Single 6,7,9,10. / .22 & .32cal.

Loading Gate Spring is not specific between models, but small minimal adjustments can help in gate operation.;)

here is my flat top Single Six with a Bisley trigger and hammer installed. Turned down the hammer to match the contour of the Single Six rather than cut the grip frame.

You must use the Wrangler pawl or you won't have the free spin cyl feature any longer. The stainless/single sixes do not have that feature.
