thx to a "heads up" from roylt i bit on them....not too bad of a fit but i did have to do some minor sanding and a little chisel work. over all they are about the same fit as far as wideness as my pachmayr's but with the finger grooves.

i bought my p90 with the pachmayer grips which have served me very well over the years but were a little big but i just learned to shoot with them.....they have a great amount of grip with out being "tacky".

i recently got some hogue grips to see what the difference is......i like the feel and they are a lot slimmer and i like the wrap around finger grooves but i have yet to shoot with them and i am curious how they will do in the heat down here.

and here are the eagle wood grips, i like the look and we will see how they shoot....i don't plan on these as my everyday carry but it's nice to dress up sometimes......thx roylt!

thx for stopin' by...........

I bought my P90 in early 1991 with those butt-ugly factory plastic ray-gun grips. I swapped them out for the Hogue grips and couldn't be happier. I do like those Eagles that your piece is sporting, though. It is fun to play dress-up now and then.

I wish I had spare money to have gotten those. They look nice. How about a pic of the other side too.

I have some Pach but they are too big for me. I run Hogue or Uncle Mikes typically. Of course I have a metal Ruger emblem in my hogues/Mikes. I like to tinker.

You are just lucky I'm poor right now or they would have been mine. haha

I'm glad a fellow P-nut on the forum has them.

Nice looking grips.

Another P nut here! I have two of them and both sport the Hogue grips, which I love. I still have the factory grips but will probably never put them back on.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is with the extended barrel? Is it a threaded barrel, match etc?

Those are ports. Exhaust ports so when you fire the gun the gas keeps the barrel more level. Also known as a compensator.

I have one for a P93 but it isn't as nice as chefrob1's.

I have a 89 and a 95. where do you get the extended barrels to be able to port them?

like roylt said it is a ported barrel, this is from EFK but i don't see them listed any more on their site.....i also have a compressed recoil spring inside and together make this a very smooth and accurate shooter with fast follow up shots. i have always wanted to get another .45 but this one is such a joy to shoot, is accurate and damn near indestructable.....the only down side for every day carry is it is not light. i have thought about an sr1911 or a 4" gp100 but i have carried this for years and.........well, i just like it and more important, i trust it and i am good with it.

P-guns are all but obsolete. Finding tune or after-market parts is very hit or miss. Typically in the used market.

You just have to keep checking ebay and gunbroker to stumble on a deal.

Not a fan of wood grips on P-Series pistols. I think they look and function best with Hogue rubber grips, Crimson Trace rubber or the factory grips. Of course just my opinion.
