I have been putting together matched consecutive serial number pairs of Rugers for about 10 years now, not out of collectible value but just because. My Great Grandfather had a display of orignal colts and winchesters and called it the guns that won the west. It was a sight to behold, no tellin how much they would be worth today. My rugers are as close to duplicating his as i'll ever get.
