Winchesters new line of ammo for 2009 at Wal-mart

I just picked up a new box of Winchester 555 ammo for $15 at walmart last night. It is a plated hollow point, and shoots 1280fps. here is an article for the ammo. they also have a 40 grain that shoots 1435 fps I am intersted in getting that!

The 555 is the same as their 333 boxes. I like it, it shoots well in my MKIIIs.

I hope that 555 shows up at $15 at my Walmart. If it shoots anywhere near as well as their Dynapoints, I'll be buying it by the case!

At that price, I'm gonna buy a bunch, as long as most of them go bang. My WM has not had any bulk 22 since the run started.

I haven't seen the new Winchester stuff---my Walmart now has several boxes of Remington bulk-pack on the shelf---but all the Winchester ammo I have, rimfire and centerfire, seems to have been made at the Olin plant in East Alton, Illinois.

I have read assertions on this site that Winchester white box was imported, but that's not what the box says.

I'll be looking for this ammo, as my High Standard Sentinel doesn't chamber outside-lube .22s, and the Remington stuff has been widely reported to perform erratically.
