Do the Wilson .45 ACP mags run well in the Ruger SR 1911? Looking at the 10 round mag.

Personal opinion, take it as such: I prefer to have the same round count in ALL of
the magazines I am using. - - - I was out at the range one day and ended up with
one eight round mag. I was in the midst of a long string and the slide did not lock
back when I anticipated, thus I froze for a second. Since then I load my eight round
mags with seven.

I am convinced that most of us DO subconsciously count the number of rounds fired.

YMMV. ;)

As to Wilson mags, I've yet to hear about a failure from any. (y)

Never used their 10 round, but all their 7s and 8s run flawlessly in my Ruger 1911s. As do the 10 round Chip McCormick Railed Power Mags.

I use Tripp also, especially in the officers model.

I have serval Wilson Combat10 rounds, it is working great on my Colt 1911 and Leas Bear Custom. I never try on Ruger.
