FWIW, I installed a new Williams rear peep sight with the 570M fiberoptic front sight on my Ruger .44 Magnum Carbine.

I have always hated fiberoptic sights...but, since that's what they sent me, I figured I'd try it out...

My groups improved immediately over the standard Ruger rear fold-down sight, and with repeatable accuracy. Much easier to dial-in as well...

If you have been on the fence about one of these...it's time to jump...

Have one of these setups on a 10/22 and really like it. It's my go to gun for yard critters that need to be sent to the great beyond.

I have found that "glowing" beads shift impact around with changes in lighting. I like a plain flat face brass bead. If the stock fits you and shoulder it the same every time you'll find the bead.
