I wanna say there were 750 boxes produced w/ 20 rounds per box. I know where two boxes are. ;)

That would be correct :D

Wasn't it 750 cases of ammo though, and not 750 individual boxes?
I published that in an RENE issue but am oblivious as to where that info's at right now.
750 boxes sounds pretty low to me, especially when Ruger's distributors were also offering it at the time.

My memory banks recall that the ammo was very expensive up front and each distributor was shipped ammo at a high price, whether wanted or not. I don't think this was inexpensive, from the git-go..........Perhaps $20 per 20 round box, cost, at the start. :?

From my notes there were ... Non loaded no primer or powder 300 singles. then 750 boxes produced live 20 rounds in each box with a total of 15,000 shells total... I have seen those sell for 20.00 per round and as much as 75.00 to 150.00 per box..

OK, sounds good. We'll go with it.
Didn't the non powder loads also have a different colored tip on the bullet?
