Wiley Clapp II 357 cast lead range report

Am testing my new GP100 Wiley Clapp II 357 mag on lead swc 158 grain laser cast at multiple muzzle velocities to see how much leading might be building up.
BHN 12, no coating, bevel bases, were the test bullets.

The three test loads were my own handloads:
- 6 grains Accurate #5
- 7 grains " "
- 8 grains. ". "

Am absolutely delighted to report there was no visible leading in cylinders, forcing cone, or barrel in all three tests. The lube on the bullets left a light "haze"
That didn't effect accuracy, leading or binding.

I am a "Happy Camper"!

That bullet shape is all I use now for my .357s -- plain 'o 12BHN lead bevel based 158g SWCs . No leading here either.
