I had a Silver Eagle presentation this morning at church. The award went to a beautiful little girl of seven years old.

She was the 127th recipient. And as I looked at my book, this little ministry will be twenty years old next year, the first award was September 4, 2004.

The very first recipient is a well recognized, and published, chef in Pennsylvania. Another is teaching school in Idaho. Two are students at Pensacola Christian College in Florida. One, more recent, is a high-line electrician for a power company. Another is an airline pilot for a major airline.

I'm so proud of these youngsters and the homes they represent. I like to feel I had a small part in their success.

And, before the flak starts, there were many who came from less than desirable circumstances. From broken homes or dysfunctional families. But someone along the way encouraged them and they persevered. Some came while their parents, or parent, or guardian, slept in on the Sunday morning. They dressed themselves as best as they could and fed themselves.

Bob I don't know you other than a Brother of Christ. Yes we are family in Jesus Christ. I have worked with mostly boys and young men. I admire you and your faithfulness to the Master.
