Whoa!

Help Support Ruger Forum:

Hows about when the word is used as in a near miss, usually avoiding harm.
As the piano fell from the third floor frayed hoist cable and landed just in front of the surprised pedestrian he jumped back, swiped at his forehead with his overused handkerchief, and exclaimed " Whoa!".

Don't use it in a vehicle! Two friends almost got killed.. driver ask was it clear before pulling onto a highway... driver thought he said "go" and pulled out in front of on coming traffic and was hit, flipping their truck.

If in my car the words are "clear right", from the passenger side. If I don't hear that or I hear nothing I don't move till I look. Old helicopter CE training kicks in.

I ask "Is it clear?". If I get " yes all clear" I go. If I get either "no" or "go". I don't go. I don't trust my hearing enough to differentiate.
