Who Knows Mini 14's...Need Some Help/Advice

DGW's post pretty well sums up my attitude towards such things -- if Ruger didn't include them in the design, odds are darned good the design doesn't need them.

Of course, some folks seem decidedly bent towards changing every gun they own from what it is in to something it isn't...

Thanks much for the feedback from both DGW & Pisgah... Consider your advice taken!

I hate to admit that I didn't really think about it from the aspect of increasing the force in the other direction when the bolt is going back into battery...

Do bear in mind though, that I certainly aint an expert...meaning that all I know is what I know.

I just love this too... There might just be a tad bit less bickering on forums like this if we could all embrace this mantra...
