We need a running tab of who died today/this week. People are dropping so fast it's hard to keep up with them all. Doesn't need to be just celebrities, IMHO. We hear of relatively young people regularly who have died from strokes, heart attacks, blood clots, turbo cancers or just unknown causes. Recently my kids 2nd grade teacher died from a stroke. She was in her 40s and seemed fit. Last week a previously healthy co-worker of my wife just up and died (40 yrs old IIRC) suddenly. I guess the Sudden Adult Death Syndrome got them?

I did think this was morbidly humorous - a list of celebrities we've lost for the year coming out prior to January 15th! I guess they are trying to get a jump on things. Of course it's already outdated. Anyhow...

1.8 people die every second.
It's kind of a universal constant.

So much of our lives are on line now not face to face. Often there are people on the forums that just vanish. Some are missed but we never find out what happened. I have thought that there should be a computer program we could enter the info for forums we care about and when we pass next of kin could hit one key and post "departure notices". It could be fun to write your own strange ones. ---------- Celebrities don't die more often than others (except rappers?). They just die just visibly.
