When did Ruger drop the Color case??

From the online catalog it looks like you can get any new non-stainless Ruger vaquero in any color you want as long as it's blue. When did Ruger drop the Color case?? (I didn't much like it until they dropped it!!)

It's more correct to say"When did Ruger drop the CCH look?" as the finish they provided was not a real CCH.
