whats my ruger mark III 22/45 stainless worth?

I was wondering what my ruger mark III 22/45 stainless competition target model is worth? I really would like to get into shooting clays. I dont really have enough money for a ruger redlabel yet. I might let go my 22/45 if the price is right.

Check the local gun shops in your area to see what a new one sells for. They are currently available so base your pricing off your local prices. Adjust for used,, or missing box or papers etc.

Used, I would probably say you're looking at 275-300 range. Just an estimate. You would probably get more if you post it here, rather than trading it into a dealer.

Thanks guys! I might put it on here for sale. It might also come with a MINT condition leupold 2x extended eye relief scope. Think i could get $450 shipped? Gun and scope are in new condition.

With that scope, it might fetch what you are asking. For a clays gun, I'd consider a Browning Citori, over the Red Label.

The Leupold scope does add a bit to the package.
I have a Browning Lightning Sporting Clays Citori that I got several years ago just to shoot clays with. That was ONLY after I'd been volunteering my time as a trapper on a clays range & having the opportunity to try a LOT of different shotguns to see what fit ME. I truly enjoy mine,,, but the Ruger Red Label was always a close second.

I hear alot of good things about the browning's. I have even considered buying a stoeger condor. I know somone that has had one for a long time and shoots like a dream. Its an older gun tho.
