The screw attaching the front sight on my MKIII-Target comes loose after a fair amount of shooting. Should I put some type of locking material on the screw, if so, what is your recommendation? Thanks.

Blue LocTite, #242. It will hold but you can break it loose later, if needed.

Nail Polish will work in a pinch, just be sure to degrease it first.
have used both and both will work,,,gotta be cleaned /degreased first.

Shove a piece of Monofilament fishing line in the screw's hole in the barrel. Insert screw and tighten normally. Trim the excess line with a lighter.
