Thanks for the answers. I've been trying to clean out all my gun parts and reloading stuff. . Most of the Ruger stuff is gone. Didn't have to work on Ruger guns very often. . Still have High Standard Charter Arms a little bit of S&W and a LOT of Colt stuff. I quit working on guns quite a while(years) ago. I don't know what stuff goes for these days so I generally put most on ebay. But some things I have no idea what they fit. Have sold quite a bit of reloading items at local online auctions...Don't have to ship 'em that way. Got a new computer and it has taken me a while to figure out how to load pics in folders on the computer. Know how to fix guns...but not computer stuff! Thanks y'all

Sorry! I was thinking "low back/high back". Typed "old/new".
Seen as they no longer make the "low back" model. That would make it "old"? LOL!

As others have said, they are for a Security Six or Service Six serial number prefix 151 or higher (high back).
They look like they have a some figure to the wood and not 'plain Jane' ones like many of them but they are missing some checkering on the left side panel. I think several people on the site would like to have them. I know I would.
I haven't bought any like this for quite a while so I really don't know their true value.

this guy is looking for a set

Low back grips have the top shaped like an symmetrical hump. High backs like this have an un-symetrical "swoop"

Oh Hell y'all...symmetrical swoop? This is why I asked the question here. Go to the "people who know"!! I know a bit about S&Ws...but still ask the people who know, questions there.
