My favorite is a hardball match 1911.
Unfortunately you have to aim them so they don't work well for concealed carry after dark.
My favorite medium is a Sig 228 or the larger 226 for carry.
My favorite little one is a Sig 238.
For carry in the woods, I always want a revolver. Redhawk, Blackhawk, 686, 29. Something with enough authority to convince a large bear that it is lower on the food chain!
I only have one full sized semi auto, a CZ 75 Omega in 9mm. It is quite accurate and easy to shoot well due to the wider grip to accommodate the double stack magazine.
The medium/small is the LC9. and the mini is the LCP, which is my EDC gun. I always used to look upon the .380 as sub par as a concealed carry gun, but with recent developments in self defense bullets/ammo I think it has become viable as a self defense option. And besides that, if I am wrong about that, Then what the Hell? I have already had a long life anyway.
