For me, it is a Morgan Silver Dollar dated 1878 SF mint mark.

Hmm … great question. I’ve got a couple of Morgans in that date range too but don’t remember exactly.

Bet those are my oldest too….I can’t think of anything else.

Somewhere I have some Roman coins from the time of Christ.

Still that's pretty modern compared to a fossil Pretty sure I have some fossils around too.

The oldest family thing (besides tin types and my ggg grandfathers Civil War discharge papers) is a high chair that turns into a stroller. I'd guess about 1890 because this was taken before my grandmother was born in 1895. It's her parents and siblings.

I have a pre Alaska purchase (1859) 1850s hand made Russian Bear Trap. it came from the southern most town on Kodiak Island. the town of Akhiok. it was hanging at the company store for the old cannery. I made a deal an bought it years ago. great addition to my trap collection. only one I ever seen, other the in a magazine. here it is on my 40in tall Alaska bush wheel tires. its big ! FNC

A pine fireplace mantel that came out of a house built in 1710 but an expert says it has a 1790s style old anyway
