The songs you mentioned were indeed done by Hank Williams! Hank Williams had a son in 1949… Hank Williams Junior.
Junior became famous doing his dad's songs but finally made some hits of his own in the 80's. He is still touring at 75. He has always had a bad boy reputation that was earned. If you are into Rugers most collectors know of his Ruger collection and know a Hank Williams Junior Ruger to bring a premium.

There's also Hank Williams III, who has done both country and metal stuff. It doesn't feel as genuine as the other Williams' stuff, but his country stuff is pretty decent

It was Hank Williams Jrs' song "All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night" starting in 1989, and ESPN continued to use it when the prime-time matchup moved to ABC in 2006. In 2011 the network "canceled" Williams' song for six years after he publicly compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler, on Fox News I think but I don't remember the context. Not that I think it is appropriate to compare to Hitler. That is now done against Donald Trump on a daily basis with no consequences other than assassination attempts. In 2017, during President Trump's first year in office, Williams was back by popular demand but canceled for good during the covid season as the excuse..

The dark glasses and beard were to hide the scars from the fall. He was pretty tore up.
